Expectation is Getting Higher and Higher with Each Event! The Last Installment Before the Next Big One!
Culture and Fashion- they have been redefining each other from the time immemorial. In our previous blogs, we have been providing you with the details how KFE is merging culture and fashion and KFE will never cease doing that. Culture has been an integral part of our nation and we are known by this. Whenever we sit down to chalk out our plans for our event, culture has never slipped our mind. We have always made sure that it touches our hearts not only in the form of couture but also in the form of decors of the event. You see only promoting the ethnic fashion of India is not only our only motto. If something is promoted from our end, it has to be grand, luxurious and lavish and probably that is why Kolkata Fashion Expo has been held as the biggest fashion carnival of Eastern India.
Kolkata, earlier Calcutta, has always inspired us through her culture, traditions, rituals, and customs. People here are more of ethnic lovers – they love sarees, Punjabis, dhotis. Though as the name is changed to Kolkata and people here have started following the Western culture in the form of apparels, they have not forgotten their Calcutta culture and that is why we consistently fall in love with the Cultural Capital of India. Kolkata Fashion Expo 2017 has been decorated with colors – Colors that speak of the culture of Kolkata and her happiness associated with them. The decor looked vibrant with colors that were justifying the glorious galore of the city. Manufacturers who had hailed from here and there in our country had witnessed how we were presenting the uniqueness of KFE each time. While KFE is making an impact on the culture of the particular place, be it Kolkata or somewhere else, the manufacturers, buyers, and other honorable guests do feel proud being a part of this event that doesn’t only convey fashion. As much as 200 stalls were representing the diverse traditional and mystifying Indo-Western couture and ethnic apparels that were crafted by the leading designers of different parts of our country. In these two days of KFE 2017 on 4th and 5th August, Kolkata along with her guests had witnessed a cultural intimacy – some in the form of inspirational decor and some in the form of fashion.
The buzz which KFE 2017 Kolkata had created, has traveled to Hyderabad in this year – a city that needs no introduction. The City of Pearls which had ruled so many hearts in the past still retains such aura of herself which is beyond magnificence. Imperial history is what defines Hyderabad and a great culture of Nizams. You see Hyderabad is called City of Nizam for a good many reasons. When KFE 2018 February was destined to happen at Leonia Resort, Hyderabad, we were quite expectant that we would get to share our culture and artistry. And Hyderabad did not let us down. The City of Pearl is a true pearl representing herself to the patrons of KFE who strove to make it grander. The entire event was tuned with live music, poolside party and gala fashion show that truly brought out the sublimity of Kolkata Fashion Expo in the form of designer apparels.
